Woods

Wood grading “systems” vary greatly, and while no single system is particularly right or wrong, one man’s “3A” is another man’s “4A”, and one supplier’s “5A” may be another supplier’s “Master Grade”. I choose to ignore most of this as marketing semantics, and grade my wood according to my own experience.

We, in fact, cut and process most of our own sets from carefully chosen billets, and our clients are usually astounded at the quality of the materials we’ve used in their guitars for the prices they’ve paid.
